- Full name — provided at registration to identify your account.
- Email address — used to identify your account, send transactional and marketing communications, and for account security purposes.
- Phone number — provided at registration, used for account verification and support communications.

2.2 Data We Collect Automatically
When you use the Platform, we automatically collect certain technical and usage data, including:
- Log data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and timestamps of your interactions with the Platform.
- Device data — device type, screen resolution, and other technical identifiers.
- Usage data — features used, processing jobs initiated, video durations processed, Credit balance activity, and session duration.
- Cookie data — we use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your authenticated session, as well as analytics and behavior-tracking cookies from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the Platform is used. EEA and UK users will be presented with a cookie consent banner before non-essential cookies are set. See Section 8 for full details.
2.3 Data We Collect from Third Parties
We receive limited data from our payment processor, Stripe, including transaction identifiers, payment status, and billing country. When you add Credits to your Account, your payment details are entered into a payment form hosted within our application interface, but this data is transmitted directly to Stripe and is never stored by us. We do not retain your card number, CVV, expiry date, or other sensitive payment credentials at any point. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by Stripe's own Privacy Policy and PCI-DSS compliance standards.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect for the following purposes, each supported by a lawful basis under applicable data protection law:
3.1 To provide and operate the Services
We use your name, email address, Input Recordings, and usage data to create and manage your account, process your recordings using our AI pipeline, generate Output Videos, manage your Credit balance, and deliver the core functionality of the Platform. Lawful basis: Performance of a contract with you.
3.2 To process payments
We share limited billing data with Stripe to facilitate payment processing, verify transactions, and handle chargebacks or disputes. Lawful basis: Performance of a contract with you.
3.3 To communicate with you
We use your email address to send transactional communications, including account confirmations, credit top-up receipts, processing completion notifications, price change notices (as required under our Terms of Use), and security alerts. We may also send you product updates, feature announcements, and promotional emails, from which you can unsubscribe at any time. Lawful basis: Transactional communications — contract performance; Marketing communications — legitimate interests or consent where required by law.
3.4 To improve and train our AI models
We use Input Recordings and Output Videos to improve the quality, accuracy, and performance of the Platform's AI models and processing pipeline. This may include using your content to train, fine-tune, and evaluate our AI systems. As stated in our Terms of Use, there is no opt-out from this use. By using the Platform, you consent to your content being used for this purpose. Lawful basis: Consent (as provided through acceptance of our Terms of Use) and legitimate interests.
3.5 To ensure security and prevent abuse
We use log data, usage data, and account information to detect and prevent fraudulent activity, enforce our Terms of Use, investigate violations, and protect the integrity of the Platform and our users. Lawful basis: Legitimate interests.
3.6 To comply with legal obligations
We may process your data where required to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, enforce our legal rights, or protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others. Lawful basis: Legal obligation.
3.7 Marketing reference
If you register with a corporate or organizational email address, we may reference the associated organization in our marketing materials as described in our Terms of Use (Section 16.8). Lawful basis: Legitimate interests.
4. How We Share Your Data
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:
4.1 Service Providers
We share data with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the Platform. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to perform services on our behalf:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud hosting and infrastructure. Data is stored on servers located in the United States.
- Stripe — payment processing. When you submit payment details through the Platform, that data is transmitted directly to Stripe and is not stored by us. Stripe is subject to its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance standards. You can review Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
- Google LLC (Google Analytics) — web analytics. Google receives usage and interaction data via cookies. Data is processed on Google's servers, which may be located in the United States. See Section 8.2 for details and opt-out options.
- Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Clarity) — behavior analytics and session interaction recording. Clarity receives UI interaction data (clicks, scrolls, navigation). It does not capture the content of your recordings or videos. Data is processed on Microsoft's servers. See Section 8.3 for details and opt-out options.
- Email delivery provider — we use a third-party transactional email service to deliver account notifications and communications to you. This provider processes your email address solely to deliver messages on our behalf.
- Third-Party AI Providers — we use external AI model providers to power the script generation, voiceover synthesis, and caption creation features of the Platform. These providers process Input Recordings and other content as necessary to generate Output Videos. We do not disclose the identity of these providers, as they may change at any time. All such providers are subject to data processing agreements with us.
4.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your data if we believe in good faith that disclosure is required to: (a) comply with a legal obligation, court order, or lawful request from a government authority; (b) enforce our Terms of Use or protect our legal rights; or (c) protect the safety, rights, or property of our users or the public.
4.3 Business Transfers
If InovarTech Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets, your personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you by email and/or a prominent notice on the Platform before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4.4 With Your Consent
We may share your data with third parties in any other circumstance where you have given us your explicit consent to do so.
5. International Data Transfers
InovarTech Inc. is based in the United States and our Platform is hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States. If you are accessing the Platform from outside the United States, including from the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), or other jurisdictions, your personal data will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
The United States does not have the same data protection laws as the EEA or UK. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA or UK to the United States or other countries that have not been deemed to provide an adequate level of data protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) — approved by the European Commission, incorporated into our agreements with service providers where required.
- UK International Data Transfer Agreements (IDTAs) — where applicable for transfers from the United Kingdom.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter, in accordance with the following:
- Account data (name, email) — retained for the duration of your account and for up to 90 days following account deletion, to allow you to export your data and for us to handle any outstanding disputes or legal obligations.
- Input Recordings and Output Videos — retained for the duration of your account. Upon account deletion, a minimum 90-day export window is provided before permanent deletion, consistent with our Terms of Use (Section 10.4).
- Billing and transaction records — retained for up to 7 years from the transaction date to comply with financial record-keeping obligations under applicable law.
- Log and usage data — retained for up to 12 months from collection.
- Support communications — retained for up to 2 years from the date of the communication.
After the applicable retention period, data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems. Deletion cannot be undone.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data. We honor these rights for all users globally, not only those in jurisdictions where they are legally mandated.
7.1 Right to Access
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. We will provide this within 30 days of receiving your request.
7.2 Right to Correction
You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold about you. You can also update your name and email address directly within your account settings.
7.3 Right to Deletion (Right to be Forgotten)
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. Upon receiving your request, we will initiate account deletion. As described in Section 6 and our Terms of Use, a minimum 90-day export window applies before permanent deletion is executed. Certain data may be retained beyond this period where required by law (e.g., billing records).
7.4 Right to Restrict Processing
You have the right to request that we restrict processing of your personal data in certain circumstances — for example, while you contest the accuracy of data we hold, or where you have objected to our processing and we are considering your objection.
7.5 Right to Data Portability
Where processing is based on your consent or performance of a contract, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to request that we transmit it to another controller where technically feasible.
7.6 Right to Object
You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data where we rely on legitimate interests as our lawful basis. We will cease processing unless we have compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or where processing is necessary for legal claims.
7.7 Rights Related to Automated Decision-Making
We do not make any decisions about you solely by automated means that produce legal or similarly significant effects. The AI processing on the Platform generates video output from your recordings but does not make decisions that affect your rights or legal status.
7.8 Right to Withdraw Consent
Where our processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Note that withdrawing consent for AI training use (Section 3.4) requires you to close your account, as this use is a condition of using the Services.
7.9 Right to Lodge a Complaint
If you are in the EEA and believe we have not handled your data in accordance with applicable law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. A list of EEA supervisory authorities is available at: https://edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members_en
If you are in the UK, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at www.ico.org.uk.
7.10 How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise any of the rights described above, please send a written request to hello@motionguide.ai. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request. We will not charge a fee for reasonable requests, but may charge a reasonable fee or decline to act on requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive.
8. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies on the Platform. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. We use three categories of cookies: strictly necessary, analytics, and behavior tracking. Non-essential cookies require your consent where required by applicable law.
8.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Platform to function. They cannot be switched off and do not require your consent. Disabling them will prevent you from logging in or using the Services.
- Session cookies — maintain your authenticated session while logged in. Expire when you close your browser.
- Security cookies — protect against fraudulent activity, including CSRF (cross-site request forgery) tokens.
8.2 Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how users interact with the Platform — including pages visited, features used, session duration, and traffic sources. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device and transmits this data to Google's servers, which may be located in the United States. Google processes this data in accordance with its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). We have enabled IP anonymization where available. These cookies are non-essential and require your consent where required by applicable law. EEA and UK users will be asked for consent via our cookie banner before these cookies are set. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
8.3 Behavior Tracking (Microsoft Clarity)
We use Microsoft Clarity, a behavior analytics service provided by Microsoft Corporation, to record and analyze how users interact with the Platform's user interface. Clarity captures mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, and navigation patterns to help us identify usability issues and improve the user experience. Clarity does not record the content of your Input Recordings or Output Videos. Data collected by Clarity is transmitted to Microsoft's servers and processed in accordance with Microsoft's privacy policy (privacy.microsoft.com). These cookies are non-essential and require your consent where required by applicable law. EEA and UK users will be asked for consent via our cookie banner. You may opt out of Clarity tracking by adjusting your preferences in our cookie consent banner or through your browser's privacy controls.
8.4 Cookie Consent and Managing Your Preferences
When you first visit the Platform, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies (analytics and behavior tracking). EEA and UK users must provide explicit consent before non-essential cookies are set, in compliance with the GDPR and UK GDPR. You can change your cookie preferences at any time by accessing the cookie settings on the Platform. You may also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from using the Services. We do not use advertising cookies or share cookie data for cross-site behavioral advertising purposes.
9. Marketing Communications
With your consent, or where permitted under applicable law based on our legitimate interests as an existing user, we may send you emails about new features, product updates, and promotional offers related to MotionGuide.ai.
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by:
- Clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email we send you; or
- Sending an opt-out request to hello@motionguide.ai.
Opting out of marketing emails will not affect transactional communications, such as receipts, processing notifications, security alerts, or legally required notices.
10. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or alteration. These measures include:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS (Transport Layer Security).
- Encryption of data at rest using AES-256 or equivalent standards on AWS infrastructure.
- Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only, on a need-to-know basis.
- Regular security assessments and monitoring of our infrastructure.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no security system is completely impenetrable. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and relevant supervisory authorities as required by applicable law, including within 72 hours under GDPR where feasible.
Your liability cap for data loss or breach incidents is described in Section 10.3 of our Terms of Use.
11. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data to us, please contact us immediately at hello@motionguide.ai and we will take steps to delete that information and terminate the associated account.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through our Platform. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party.
13. Additional Information for EEA and UK Users
This section applies specifically to users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom (UK) and supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy.
13.1 Legal Bases for Processing
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, we are required to identify a lawful basis for each processing activity. Our lawful bases are set out in Section 3 of this Privacy Policy alongside each processing purpose. In summary:

13.2 Data Controller and Processor
For your account and usage data, InovarTech Inc. is the data controller. For personal data contained within Input Recordings you submit to the Platform, you are the data controller and InovarTech Inc. acts as your data processor. In this capacity, we process such data only on your documented instructions (i.e., to generate Output Videos) and in accordance with our Terms of Use.
13.3 Representative
We do not currently have a designated EU or UK representative. Users in the EEA and UK may contact us directly at hello@motionguide.ai for all data protection matters. We will review this as our user base grows and appoint a representative if required under applicable law.
13.4 Data Protection Officer
We do not currently have a designated Data Protection Officer (DPO), as we are not currently required to appoint one under applicable law. Data protection inquiries should be directed to hello@motionguide.ai.
14. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

14.2 No Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
14.3 Your California Rights
California residents have the right to: (a) know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, or sell; (b) request deletion of personal information; (c) correct inaccurate personal information; (d) opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (not applicable, as we do not sell or share); and (e) non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise your rights, contact us at hello@motionguide.ai.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and/or by posting a prominent notice on the Platform at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
The updated Privacy Policy will be available at www.motionguide.ai/privacy, with the revised effective date noted at the top.
